Is there anyone in Dallas, Houston, SanAntonio, or Austin who would be willing to let me crash on their couch for one night around Jan 10th? I really want to see Evangelion 3.33 in theaters and I've looked at hotels however being that I'm 19 I can't stay at most of them. However if you do decide to let me stay at your place you would not only have my eternal gratitude and thanks but I'll make you dinner. I don't like to brag but I can make a mean chicken teriyaki stir-fry! However it doesn't end there! If you want to see 3.33 as well, I'll pay for your ticket! So if anyone would be willing to put me up I would be eternally greatful!

have you tried airbnb?
Lots of people willing to rent out their couch or spare bedroom for a night on there.

Ahh, I know that feeling all too well! That stupid age gap between being allowed to stay out all night and being allowed to sleep inside when you do. Makes no sense. I've had to skip out on a few concerts and events already due to goddamn 21+ hotels, which are basically all of them.

In the great free US of A you can't drink till 21, you can't gamble and you can't get hotels?! Man this is really the definition of freedom.

Yep, I can buy a shotgun, join the army, and smoke but I can't get a hotel room, drink alcohol, or rent a car.

Being in a strange city with nowhere planned to sleep is an adventure you ought to be having at your age. Worst that happens is that you have to stay awake all night, which won't kill you, but more likely something will turn up when you go looking.

Not that I've ever stayed in one, but search around for "youth hostels" in the area; they should accommodate you if all else fails.
On another note, I'm glad that film is getting some kind of theatrical release in the US. It gives me hope that 4.0 isn't vaporware. Like, my children's children might get to see the final film, and I'm cold and dead.

That was Greg Moore (of indy car fame) beef with america too. Sure they let him drive Indy cars, but not rental camry's. Too dangerous! lol.
